    Itinerary

    Day 1: Arusha – Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut

    After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. Begin your trek through open grasslands and forest, where you may spot giraffes, buffalo, and monkeys. With an armed ranger, hike steadily to Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight.

    Day 2: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut

    Continue trekking through dense forest and moorland, enjoying scenic views along the way. Reach Saddle Hut, located just below Little Meru, where you can take an optional short hike for acclimatization and sunset views. Dinner and overnight at the hut.

    Day 3: Summit Day – Saddle Hut – Miriakamba Hut

    Start early (around midnight) for your summit attempt to Mount Meru. Reach the summit at sunrise for incredible views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape. Descend back to Saddle Hut, rest briefly, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut for overnight.

    Day 4: Miriakamba Hut – Momella Gate – Arusha

    After breakfast, descend through the forest back to Momella Gate. Meet your driver and transfer back to Arusha, marking the end of your adventure.
